“I kept changing majors in college because I just couldn’t see myself being a teacher or a lawyer or an accountant. “I didn’t have a set career path, I guess,” she said. Glass grew up in Marion, graduated from River Valley in 2007, then Marion Tech in 2017 with a degree in business management. We want to be a light in this dark world and show God’s love to all those we have the opportunity to serve. “One of the best ways I know of doing this is with food, especially coffee and candy! I love it when someone has a drink of their coffee or a bite of their brownie and you can tell that it made his day better. “I do this because I want to be able to love people,” Glass said. “We travel to several locations in Marion and surrounding counties,” she said. Today, Glass co-owns and operates a food truck called Coffee and Crumb Café. Food trucks weren’t really a thing back then. “Food, especially coffee drinks and sweets, can transform someone’s day. “As a teenager I watched Food Network, and as I got older I was more intrigued by food - how different flavors taste together and how happy it makes people,” she explained. “And I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be my own boss.” “I’ve always loved food in general and customer service type jobs,” Glass said. She just knew she had an entrepreneurial spirit. MARION – Growing up, Kylee Glass wasn’t sure what she wanted to do.
